5:00 - 9:00pm - Missouri S&T Equinox and Wellness Fair @ Gale Bullman Building, (Moved indoors - please use the doors on the south side of Gale Bullman next to the S&T Fitness Center.)  

5:30 - 7:00pm - Missouri S&T New Student Convocation @ Gale Bullman Building, Gibson Arena.  For those who cannot attend, a live stream option will be available on the S&T Facebook page and on Zoom.

6:45 - 8:00pm - Free food to 2000 people

7:45 - 8:03pm - Equinox Celebration with Fireworks Display

Cotton Candy, Snow Cones, Popcorn

30 booths about academic well-being; social well-being; mental well-being and community well-being with swag, drawings and prizes, decorate frisbees, play games and make your wellness stickers.  Visit with Joe Miner, play a game, find a new club to join or intramural sport, talk with the college deans or departments, learn about the Holocaust Exhibit, or where to chill and get help with your studies.

10:00am - 5:00pm - S&T Makerspace tours every half an hour including laser cutter demonstrations @ Room G5, Interdisciplinary Engineering Building (IDE) (1215 N. Pine Street).

11:30am - 2:00pm - Fall Equinox Celebration - food, games, demonstrations and booths from various departments and clubs on campus @ Stonehenge Replica

12:00pm - 3:00pm - Guided tours of the Student Design Center @ the Student Design and Experiential Learning Center (SDELC, 1051 N. Bishop Ave.)

1:00pm - 2:30pm - Tours every quarter hour @ the S&T Child Development Center (1207 N. Elm Street)

1:00 - 2:30pm - Ceramic Engineering Demonstration @ 142 McNutt Hall. Register for the 1:30pm demonstration here. (Limited to 15 people per session.)

1:00 - 3:00pm - Open House @ Hasselmann Alumni House (1100 N. Pine St.) hosted by the Miner Alumni Association. Stop by for refreshments and to see their beautiful building, where alumni, students and friends come to gather.

1:00pm - 3:00pm - Tours of the Foundry, Hot Glass Shop, Nuclear Reactor, and the Experimental Mine. (These tours required preregistration.)

5:00pm - S&T Women's Soccer vs. Southwest Baptist @ Missouri S&T Soccer Field. (Purchase tickets here or at the gate.)

6:00pm - S&T Women's Volleyball vs. Quincy @ Gibson Arena (Purchase tickets here or at the door.)

6:00pm - 10pm - Glamour and Gatsby hosted by the S&T Aerial Dance and Swing Club @ St. Pat's Ballroom, Havener Center with beginner dance lessons from 6pm - 7pm. ($5 S&T students, $10 non-students - pay at the door.)

7:30pm - S&T Men's Soccer vs. Southwest Baptist @ Missouri S&T Soccer Field. (Purchase tickets here or at the gate.)

8:30 - 10:30am - Welcome Brunch and Parents Resource Fair @ the Havener Center Atrium (Brunch menu: bacon, scrambled eggs, biscuits & gravy, hash browns, muffins, fresh fruit, coffee, and orange juice). S&T students will use their meal plans, if applicable. Included in the Weekend Pass ($11.50 per family).

10:00am - Tour of the Emerson Electric Company Hall hosted by the Electrical and Computer Engineering Department. Tour begins in the atrium.

11:00am - Parade of Nations - "Wonders of the World" with Mini-Float Competition, parade route.

12pm - 4pm - Celebration of Nations Live Music and Entertainment, International Food and Craft Vendors, Celebrate Talent, Celebrate Fashion, Cultural Displays, and Kid's Korner (STEM Around the Globe) @ the Rolla Bandshell and Festival Lots (E. 9th Street). 

3:00pm - Missouri S&T Women's Volleyball Game vs. Illinois Springfield @ Gibson Arena (Purchase tickets here or at the door.)

6:00pm - Missouri S&T Football Game vs. Wayne State @ All-Good Bailey Stadium (Purchase tickets here or at the gate.)

 

9am - 1:00pm - Dine with your student @ Thomas Jefferson Dining Hall. Enjoy a scrumptious all you can eat meal for only $11.15 (plus tax) per person!

12:00pm - S&T Women's Soccer vs. Drury @ Missouri S&T Soccer Field. (Purchase tickets here or at the gate.)

2:30pm - S&T Men's Soccer vs. Drury @ Missouri S&T Soccer Field. (Purchase tickets here or at the gate.)

These hotels are offering a limited number of discounted non-smoking rooms for Family & Friends Weekend. Please contact each hotel at their listed number to reserve a room by their deadline, and ask about options for room substitution, additional guests, cancellation policy, breakfast and other amenities. Be sure to specify you are coming for Missouri S&T Family & Friends Weekend!

Baymont Inn & Suites: Double Queen and King rooms, $81.99 plus tax per room for up to 4 guests. Call the front desk at 573-364-7000 to check for availability by August 22, 2023.

Best Western Coachlight Inn: Double Queen rooms, $99.99 plus tax. Call the front desk at 573-341-2511. This rate expired on July 22, 2023.

Comfort Inn & Suites: Rooms with a variety of bed types, $125 plus tax per room for up to 4 guests. Some rooms include fold-out sleeper sofas. Call the front desk at 573-368-4300 to check for availability. There are no more rooms available at this special rate.

Days Inn & Suites: Double Double and King rooms, $70.99 plus tax per room for up to 4 guests. Call the front desk at 573-426-5060 to check for availability. There are no more rooms available at this special rate.
